3rd Annual - One Act Play Festival
POPA is now accepting scripts for the 2012 One Act Play Festival. All entries must be received by FEB 15, 2012.
No previous play-writing experience or past production history is required, and there is no limitation to genre.
Guidelines for submission:

Plays must be the original work of the author, and must not have been previously published or produced.
Plays may not exceed 35 minutes total production time
Plays may not exceed 7 total characters
Simple sets and lighting are preferred
All plays must be suitable for production by a community theatre for a multi-generational audience.
Use of excessive adult language or theme is strongly discouraged.
Include 3 copies of each script with all pages numbered and no author identification on the scripts or title page; a separate title page with author identification; and an introductory letter that includes playwright name, address, phone, email address, and a short bio.
FEE: There is a $5.00 entry fee for each script submitted. Playwrights may submit more than one script, but only one play per playwright will be selected for production in any given year.
Please include a self-addressed, stamped postcard if you wish acknowledgment of your script. Scripts will not be returned without return pre-paid mailer.
