What is POPIT?
POPIT is the youth organization within the Pend Oreille Players Association. This group is led by their own Board of Directors and will be involved in planning events for the youth of POPA

Pend Oreille Players In Training will learn all aspects and responsibilities of theater by experiencing it firsthand while entertaining.

Performance Date: December 27, 7:00 PM
Forms Submitted Deadline: December 12
Rehearsals: December 19, 4:00 PM and December 26, 6:00 PM.
Guidelines:
1. Performers must be 21 or under
2. All songs should be under 5 minutes, skits or other acts should be under 10 minutes
3. All acts must be family appropriate
4. Participants must attend all rehearsals

POPIT One Act Play Festival
Performance Dates: May 18 and 19
Submission Deadline: March 15
Plays Chosen By: April 14
Play Guidelines:
1. Playwright must be age 21 or under
2. Play must not be published
3. Play must be less than 30 minutes in length and in one-act format
4. Play must be family friendly
5. Cast must be less than ten
Submission Guidelines:
1. Deliver one hard copy to: POPIT, Pend Oreille Playhouse, 240 N Union, Newport, WA 99156
2. Must specify script is for the POPIT One Act Play Festival
3. Enter Playwright's name and contact information on cover sheet only (not on script)
4. Submitted script will not be returned
5. Playwrights of chosen scripts will be notified by phone or email by April 21, 2011
6. Playwrights of chosen scripts may choose to direct his/her play.
Serviceman's Canteen
Performance Dates: January 27 and 28, 7:00 PM and January 29, 3:00 PM
First meeting is December 5th, 4:00. If you are between the ages of 12-21 and would like to be involved, please come to this meeting.
The Secret Life of Girls
Performance Dates: Feb 15 @ 5:00 pm & 7:30 pm
Feb 17 @ 5:00 pm & 7:30
Auditions Dates: Dec 12 & 13 @ 4:00 pm
Cast: 2 female adults, 7 female teens
